BANK-now

BANK-now is a private-loan subsidiary of Credit Suisse and one of the ten most successful e-commerce websites in Switzerland.

The challenge

BANK-now wanted to overhaul its website, its most important channel for loan applications. But extensive FINMA (the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority) regulation of lending practices and its requirement for keeping users comprehensively informed made it challenging. A further hurdle was that the website was to be integrated with the bank’s existing IT infrastructure.

The solution

Through A/B testing, we were able to continually improve the user-friendliness of the website. Moreover, we created helpful content elements to show how credit works in Switzerland and to convey when taking out a loan is sensible.
