AMAG Import, the Volkswagen Group importer, wanted to offer its dealers a uniform cross-brand solution. The AMAG Import dealer solution provides a separate brand website for each dealer. This ensures the consistency in communicating services and offers for each brand.
AMAG Import delivers Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda and Seat brands to around 1000 dealers across Switzerland, who sell the vehicles to end customers.
Individually maintained dealer websites were often under-supported, rarely updated and many did not adhere to the CI/CD guidelines. Another problem: The car manufacturers did not provide the dealers with interfaces for digital content.
First, we copied all dealer pages with scraping technology and created, with Spectra, a new website that had the manufacturers’ look and feel. All dealer websites are now populated centrally with all model information and global offers, and dealers are also able to add their own offers and news, locally. Multi-brand dealers have separate pages for each brand and only have to enter their dealer information once.
Every retailer now has a CI/CD-compliant website that is always up to date and requires much less effort. All customers inquiries are sent directly to the right retailer via CRM
