To do this, we used content from the original brand pages and recreated it, so each dealer has a separate address. The dealer can modify, maintain and localise that webpage using content specific to his or her dealership, but using the same system – WYSIWYG, of course.
The platform is based on the Spectra web platform developed in-house. The information from the respective brand systems is extracted without interfaces.
Project duration less than 1 year
The project started in August 2016. Only 5 months after, the first brand went online. AMAG's goal was to introduce a highly scalable and modern CMS which would form the basis for controlling online brand communication. By today, more than 400 individual dealer websites are online.
Sales partners who manage one or more AMAG brands can have tailored websites while maintaining the global look and feel of the brand. The brand content is automatically updated daily, so all model information and promotions are continuously updated on all dealer pages. With SKODA, VW, VW Nutzfahrzeuge, Audi and SEAT, all brands are integrated in the Spectra system.
Websites for AMAG partners
AMAG dealers and service partners can also obtain their own website via the same system. This means that content only needs to be entered once and can be played back to the website and brand websites using the simplest control system.
Enter once - play several times
In future, dealership owners with more than one brand will no longer have to process their in-house information several times. For example, they can enter an article once about the upcoming autumn trade fair and distribute it across brand websites.
